Fern Britton is a regular feature on channels like BBC and ITV where she often encourages her viewers to eat healthy and exercise. But in 2006, Britton herself had to undergo a gastric band surgery. Although she’d faced backlash from her fans who felt like she’d taken the easy way out rather checking exercise through online classes, the surgery was essential because she had been facing issues with her health. After her recovery, a now barely recognizable Fern Britton starred in the TV show Strictly Come Dancing.
